Elston and Elena visit the Olympic Peninsula July 8-13, 2009
|
On the way from SEATAC to our house, we stop in Gardner to visit the
trolls.
Then we stop in Blynn to watch the carving of totem poles.
It is a long ride from SEATAC, so after a nights rest, it was on to Tongue Point to visit the tide pools.
From Tongue Point we were off to hike the trail to Barnes Creek.
After a full day, we returned home to relax and enjoy a visitor in our yard.
The cherubs were great sports permitting us to wake them at 7:30 a.m. each day of their vacation.
For day 2, we were off to hike up Hurricane Hill
The view of Mount Baker, 130 miles away in a direct line, was awesome.
