Day 4 24 Sept Cape Town (Robben Island)
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the Cape Town Waterfront and the Robben Island Ferry Terminal. Robben Island
where Mandella was prisoned is a World Heritage Site. Portswood Hotel.
Day 5 25 Sept Cape Town (Cape Peninsula)
After breakfast depart with private guide and vehicle for full-day Cape Peninsula Tour. Portswood Hotel.
Day 6-7 26-27 Sept Cape Town (Independent touring) with rental car. Table Mountain Cable Car (walk around top),
Kristenbosch Gardens with tea, Rhodes Memorial (and tea and cake), West Coast National Park.
Day 8 28 Sept Cape Town / Hermanus (Independent touring)
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, scenic drive to the coastal town of Hermanus. Overnight Ocean Eleven

After an early breakfast at the guesthouse, check out and drive to Cape Town Airport where you will drop off your rental car.
Fly from Cape Town to Johannesburg via Nationwide Airlines flight #803, departing at 0940a. Arrive Johannesburg at 1140a
where you will collect your rental car and drive in an easterly direction towards Kruger National Park. Drive roughly 265 km
and arrive late afternoon at the Critchley Hackle Guesthouse in the town of Dullstroom.

Day 13 3 October Dullstroom / Hazyview (Independent touring)
After breakfast at the guesthouse and check-out, drive in your rental car exploring this scenic area – after some am
exploration, travel on a short distance to Hazyview and check into the Plumbago Guesthouse.

Day 14 4 October Hazyview (Independent touring)
Beautiful scenery and good birding in this area west of the Kruger National Park. Overnight Plumbago Guesthouse.
Day 15 5 October Hazyview / Sabi Sands Private Reserve (Kruger)
After breakfast at the guesthouse, check out and drive to Kruger Airport and drop off your rental car. Meet up with Selati
Lodge staff and transfer in their vehicle to Selati Lodge located in the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve bordering Kruger
National Park. Arrive in time for lunch, check-in and afternoon tea and game drive. Overnight Selati Lodge.
Day 16 6 October Sabi Sands Private Reserve
Morning and afternoon game drives in the private reserve in search of the “Big 5.” Overnight Selati Lodge.

Morning and afternoon game drives in the private reserve in search of the “Big 5.” Overnight Selati Lodge.
Day 18 8 October Sabi Sands / Johannesburg
Enjoy a final morning game drive and brunch before transferring to the KMIA airport for South African Airways flight #8846 to
Johannesburg, departing at 1640p. Arrive in Johannesburg at 1735 and transfer to the hotel near JNB Airport using
complimentary shuttle. Overnight D’Oreale Grand Hotel.
Day 19 9 October Johannesburg / Maun, Botswana / Kalahari
After breakfast at the hotel, take the shuttle to OR Tambo (JNB Apt) airport for your Air Botswana flight #212 from
Johannesburg to Maun, Botswana, departing at 1010a. Arrive in Maun at 1150a and after clearance formalities, connect with
scheduled flight to Deception Valley Airstrip. Transfer to the Deception Valley Lodge for lunch and an afternoon activity.
Dinner at the lodge. Overnight Deception Valley Lodge.
Day 20 10 October Kalahari
Morning and afternoon nature drives and Bushmen cultural interactions. Overnight Deception Valley Lodge.

Morning and afternoon game drive and speed boat activities. Overnight Camp Moremi.
Day 24 14 October Moremi Game Reserve / Savute (Southern Chobe)
Morning game drive followed by check out. Fly from Moremi to Savute and transfer to Savute Safari Lodge.

After an early morning game drive and brunch, check out of the lodge and transfer via road and boat across the Zambezi river
to Livingstone, Zambia. Overnight Zambezi Sun Hotel.
Day 31 21 October Livingstone
After breakfast set out with a private guide for a tour of mighty Victoria Falls (both Zambian and Zimbabwean sides).
Day 32 22 October Livingstone
After breakfast at the hotel, depart on a morning tour of a local village. Return to the hotel by late morning, retrieve your gear
and walk over to the Royal Livingstone Hotel’s boat jetty in time to depart at 1230 on your Livingstone Island Lunch Tour which
includes a short guided tour of the island, lunch and a swim/walk along the top of the Falls. By late afternoon, depart for boat
cruise on the Zambezi River aboard the African Queen. Enjoy the sunset and possibly some game viewing too (includes drinks
and snacks).
